Pinewood Derby Weight Flat Canopy
Pinewood Derby Weight Flat Canopy is a great way to bring your race car to proper weight in style. To achieve top speed, your pinewood derby car must weigh-in at the maximum allowable weight (generally 5 ounces). Our lead weights come with flat bottoms that allow drilling (if needed) to remove excess weight. If you make a thin ultralight body, probably the only way to add weight is to the top of the body. As a result, this is a good solution to your problem.
Keeping with the low design principle of low weight, minimal drag, this lead block spreads the weight over the entire width of the of the block. Allowing adaptability for your desired COG.
