1) Prepare the Body
- Drill clean, square axle holes using a precision jig.
- Harden the wood hole edges with thin CA or sealer if needed.

- Test spin each wheel on an axle; check for wobble or drag.
3) Set Proper Wheel Gap
Keep a small, consistent gap — about 0.020″ (0.5 mm) — between the wheel and axle head to prevent rubbing.
4) Alignment
Straight-Runner: Neutral toe and minimal camber for stable tracking.
Rail-Rider: Slight toe-in (~1–2″ drift over 4 ft) on the dominant front wheel for smoother rail contact.
